Hi so my game keeps on crashing when i load into the world. I drive for like 2 minutes and it freezes, goes black and then goes back to my Steam Library. I've re-downloaded the game and it still doesn't fix it. I've also tried a new profile and still doesn't work. As you have 16GB RAM can you go to Steam > Euro Truck Simulator 2 > right click, Properties > Launch Options. Once there copy & paste the following into the field:
There’s a possibility that the crashing issue is caused by corrupted or missing game files. In order to fix this you will need to verify the integrity of the game files using the Steam client
The file can be found at "C:\Users\*USERNAME*\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2" for a default install. This is a strong possibility. Basically any mod that changes the Actros will cause problems now due to the update (unless updated by it's author). Check this as well.
